Course Aim
To equip food handlers with knowledge and skills on food safety and hygiene procedures and policies; so as to conduct checks on personal hygiene practices, usage of safe ingredients, safe handling of food, food storage, equipment and cleanliness of designated work areas.

Prerequisites
Participants should be able to read and write English.
Who Should Attend
Supervisors and Managers working in food establishments.
Assessments
Trainees are required to undertake assessments which may take the form of:
- Oral questions
- Direct observation of practical performance
- Multiple-choice questions
Certification
Trainees who have successfully demonstrated competence in all the knowledge and skills requirements in this programme will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
