What you will learn

Refresh your knowledge to uphold the standards of food safety and hygiene in food establishments in Singapore. This training aims to uphold and ensure continual awareness of good hygiene practices by food handlers.

Upon completion, trainees will refresh their knowledge and understanding about the mandatory requirements by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) to be certified food handlers to work in the F&B industry in Singapore.

  • Store Food Safely
  • Maintain Cleanliness of Equipment and Premises

    Prerequisites

    Able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3.

    Assessments

    Trainees are required to undertake assessments which may take the form of:

    • Short-answer questions
    • Direct observation of practical performance
    • Multiple-choice questions

    Certification

    Trainees who have successfully demonstrated competence in all the knowledge and skills requirements in this programme will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

    1. Food Safety Level 1 (Refresher)

    After completing this Food Safety Refresher course, the certificate will be valid for 10 years.
