As a self-sponsoring individual, the following are some training grants, subsidies and claims you might be eligible for:
i. SkillsFuture Credit
The SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their S$500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Self-funded individuals may utilise SkillsFuture Credit in addition to SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding to offset the nett course fee.

ii. The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)
The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy supports and encourages lifelong learning and helps Singaporeans stay responsive to a changing workplace. Recognising that mid-career individuals may face greater challenges in undertaking training, the Government has implemented this programme to encourage mid-career Singaporeans to upskill and reskill.

iii. IRAS Course Fee Relief
Course Fees Relief is given to encourage individuals to continuously upgrade their skills and enhance employability. You may claim the actual course fees incurred by yourself, up to a maximum of $5,500 each year regardless of the number of courses, seminars or conferences you have attended.
