The team consists of ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) and DACE (Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education) accredited trainers who are committed to delivering exceptional learning and development programmes for anyone currently in, or interested in joining the hospitality industry.
Teri has been a full time trainer in the hotel industry for the past 2 years. After a 10 year career in the front-line service hospitality sector both here in Singapore and overseas, Teri joined Park Hotel Group as a trainer and assessor for their in-house training programs, development of OJTs and WSQ courses. Prior to this, Teri’s career included working for the public sector, sales & marketing and management roles in oil recycling and art. Teri has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Deakin University and obtained Advance Certificate of Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualifications in 2014.
Jenny has over 15 years of experience in a number of major hotel chains here in Singapore including Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Park Hotel Group, Far East Hospitality, and Meritus Hotels and Resorts. In her training capacity, she has facilitated Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) courses, in-house and on-the-job training and development programs, always ensuring transfer of learning on the job for trend / product knowledge and soft skills application for hospitality industry. Jenny, a DACE-accredited trainer and assessor, also has a Diploma in Hotel Management from Singapore International Hotel and Tourism College.
Venon joined SIH in June 2016, bringing with him over 6 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry in a training capacity. He has previously worked at well-known Hospitality organisations including Sakae Holdings, Select Group, and MacDonald’s. As an ACTA-accredited Trainer, Venon is passionate about the food and beverage side of the industry, and has a soft spot for wine and coffee appreciation.
